Memory Triggers
1. Smells - flowers and stale cigarette smoke (oddly enough I smoke) but both of these smells give me vivd memories as well as bring up emotions that I can't always explain to an unspuspecting bystander.
2.Phrases - shush or hush are the worst!! The remind me of someone i used to date who was forever trying to discount anything I said he told me to hush all the time like i was a child Makes me furious just to think about it!!
3.Places - Can cause me to have De ja vue type memories. There are things I am sure I have forgotten on purpose. But some places I have been brought back memories so clear that I had to call my mom and confirm the things I was remembering!
4.Circumstances - My mom burnt herself on a frying pan when she was over last weekend. It gave me emotional memories like frantic and guilt and fear! The best I could come up with is that on a Mother's Day when I was in high school she got burned. I wasn't there I hadn't come home from my Senior Prom the night before! She says I have to forgive myself for that...maybe?
5. Music - Probably the most emotional and physical vivid memories I have come from music!! Listening to the Grateful Dead and some Floyd and I could have a mental high in a matter or seconds!!! This song is CArry On by Manorwar!! There was a time in my life that I felt completely helpless. The adults in my life were insane and they were in charge!! But this song was like my fight song ..my some day I will be in charge song! I am still waiting for that day but this song still makes me feel powerful!!

I am an Auntie again today!!!


How awesome is that? All these babies everywhere for me to spoil!!


My first nephew of the year was born around noon today weighing in just over 6 lbs!! I don't have all the specifics I am sure daddy is at the hospital right now and will email me later with the details!

As I was browsing through cards and pics I discovered that this week is Hug week...July 15-21
That today June 20, 2006 is Moonday
And it is also Lollipop Day

I have no idea why..but there it is Dear Nephew!! Welcome to the world! Congrats baby brother and wifie on the new addition to the family! And Congrats to you Daddy on being a grandpa once again!!

(First...Hello daddy Many thanks for all the work you are doing on my house!! ) I don't know if it is gramatically correct he can tell me later!! Oh and by the way daddy (see my last post and the comments) do you think you are up to making me a fram from old barn wood or something similar for the quilting pieces of Grammy's?? Probably after finals and the next natural disaster..let me know LOL
Next all three of my brother's are expecting babies...one may actually be coming into the world sometime today!! Daddy is going to keep me updated! My youngest brother's baby is due in August and my oldest brother's (still younger than me) baby is due in November!! All this baby talk and I still have my senses!! I love little babies but thank God I got fixed after baby boy he is starting school this year and I am almost to the easy stuff (I know ya right but a girl can dream) I can enjoy all these babies and I never have to change a diaper if I don't wanna!!
Clutter clutter clutter!! And me staying up late!! I have slipped back into some bad habits while hubby was away!! No I have never been a good housekeeper but my house is starting to give me the creeps!! I know it is a matter of getting rid of lots of crap that I don't use and don't need but for some reason I just can't!! I get the whole pack rat thing naturally!! Both my grandmothers had housefulls of stuff crammed into one house but man that is a tradition I so need to break!! I met a professional organizer a week or so ago and I thought man i would have to clean my house before i would feel comfortable for her to come in it!! I actually am pretty good and have been paid to organize other peoples stuff but mine, what is the deal And staying up later and later!! I just can't sleep all this flooding of thoughts in my head!! Somebody broke the levy and I have no clue how to fix it!! I keep telling baby boy we gotta start getting up early to prepare for the school year and that means we gotta go to bed early! He just looks at me and shrugs knowing good and well that momma aint going to sleep any time soon so he don't have to either!! Most nights he tells me it is time to go to sleep now!! Wow I suck!!
Baby girl was here for most of last week and went back to her dad's today!! It was hard for me!! We actually had a fairly calm week with only a few outbursts!! We had some fun!! She got lots of bug bites and I discovered my cats and therefor my furniture have fleas!! Baby boy and I must not be so tasty because we don't have any bites but baby girl she was covered!! So her dad calls after he gets home from picking her up and tells me I have got to do something Duh like I know that!! I will handle it!! I get so shut down when shit comes outta his mouth though!! It is a no brainer that I have to handle the fleas so why does he feel the need to call me and inform me like I am a child!! It is like getting repremanded by my mother!! I just wanna say screw you I am gonna let the fleas take the house over and we will all live happily without you !!! But I just informed him that I had the situation in control and really didn't need his help in figuring it out!! My cats have after all had fleas before!!
Any hoo...here I sit 1:30 am and wide awake!! Too bad I am not a drinker anymore cause I know a sure fire way to get to sleep!!
